From September 15 to 19, 2025, Abidjan hosted the AIST International Conference, a leading event for professionals in the public financial sector. This major event addressed the profound changes in Treasury business processes in the face of the challenges and opportunities of digitalization.
This major gathering of the Public Treasury community brought together decision-makers, experts, and practitioners from several countries to discuss a major issue: the evolution of Treasury functions in the era of digital transformation. Over five days, participants discussed the modernization of public financial services, the challenges of system interoperability, data exploitation, and the human and technological levers needed to ensure controlled and sustainable digitalization.
On September 15, following the opening ceremony, three roundtables set the tone by examining the disruptions, continuities, and directions for the digital Treasury of tomorrow. September 16 was dedicated to practical workshops, the collective development of a summary of the work, and the General Assembly reserved for heads of delegation. September 17 and 18 were devoted to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Ivorian Treasury, a solemn and festive occasion. Finally, on September 19, a cultural activity brought the week to a close on a convivial and memorable note.
