The International Association of Treasury Services (AIST) held an international symposium in Nosy-Be, Madagascar, dedicated to the digital transformation of public treasury services. Under the theme “Digitization and Online Services to Better Serve Users,” this event brought together representatives from several financial administrations in Africa and Europe, as well as partner institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank.
During two days of roundtables and workshops, participants discussed the issues, progress, and challenges of the digitalization of public services: system interoperability, user-oriented digitization, change management, and digital governance.
Concrete feedback was presented from Morocco, France, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, and Madagascar. The symposium concluded with a summary of the work and a shared desire to accelerate digital transformation for a more accessible, efficient, and transparent administration.
