Organized by the Kingdom’s General Treasury in collaboration with the International Association of Treasury Services (AIST), this three-day seminar brought together officials and experts from several countries to discuss the theme: “Risk Management in Treasury Services: What are the Implications for Human Resources and Information Systems?”

The opening ceremony featured presentations by Mr. Noureddine Bensouda, Treasurer General of the Kingdom, and representatives of the AIST. It was followed by a plenary session, where several countries shared their experiences in risk management in public administrations, emphasizing the importance of anticipation, institutional coordination, and transparency.

Discussions continued during several thematic workshops, including:

Workshop 1: Analysis of constraints and levers for implementing risk management in Treasury departments

Workshop 2: Strategic role of information systems in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks

Workshop 3: Integration of human resources into the risk approach – managerial culture, training, involvement

Workshop 4: Risk management ecosystem and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

The workshops provided an opportunity to combine diverse perspectives, examine concrete mechanisms, and collectively reflect on governance tools that should be strengthened to modernize public action.

The seminar concluded with a summary session highlighting the main lessons learned, as well as a general meeting reserved for heads of delegation, laying the groundwork for future joint initiatives.
